Alfred's sons Franz and Kurt Trauffer took over the company in 1976. From the partly flat pull-along animals on wheels, the brothers developed the ones that every child knows and loves today. They gave them more edges and rounds without changing their character. Despite the new 3D shapes designed by Kurt's wife Ruth Trauffer and the product expansion to include farms, play figures
and exotic animals, the old values have always been preserved: Craftsmanship tradition, uniqueness and the use of Swiss wood. To this day, every single figurine is cut by hand,
sanded and then lovingly painted by one of 36 home workers. Each piece is unique.
